And I agree with Siobhan, "I hope it's not aged down for a younger audience. It would be so so so awesome if they let it be a real teen-centric thriller, violence and all."

Yeah, it should be at least PG-13, if they don't tone it down...which I hope they don't. Too often children/YA book-to-movie adaptions talk down to young people, which is precisely what the books themselves were most likely trying to avoid...
