My Goodreads "currently reading" shelf is delightfully Renaissance today:
Dick King-Smith, P.G. Wodehouse, Amy Carmichael, Charles Dickens, George Eliot, and Dorothy Sayers.
It made me smile, picturing all those people sitting upright on Regency sofas, making small talk. That's what they're doing in my head, through their books, but it's an amusing picture, just the same.
Any curious gatherings in your parlor this afternoon?
