Amazing tone.
My diagnosis: Jane Eyre meets Tamsin meets The Murder of Roger Ackroyd meets Til We Have Faces. Adore the mood she creates, the voice, the gentle teasing out of plot. Morbid, but sputtering-worthy strong.
