How was 'Midnight is a place'? or 'the mirror cracked'?

I've started another story, Noel, (as if thats anything new : )) and was wondering if you could look it over sometime.

Midnight is a Place was okay--more depth than some of her Dido Twite books. But the thing I love about Joan Aiken is her dialogue ... super, super words.

If you want to try an Agatha Christie, try something like The Murder of Roger Ackroyd...
